At some point today, there was a little sun light. It looked pretty for the small amount of time before it rained again.

While flipping between two soccer games on tv, I noticed how obvious it was to notice between the game that was outdoors versus the indoor stadium.

My apartments changed some of the lights that stay on overnight. Some are LED bulbs and some aren't. It's two different shades out there now.

Last night I was driving and another driver had those really bright car lights. It had a pink tint to them. It made the entire road look different because of the different shade from the other lights.

I saw a tree today outside of my apartment today that had half of the sun light on it. The leaves are the same color but it didn't look that way under the sun vs in the shade.

While watching a Mike Epps special on Showtime, I noticed one of the comedians shirts changed colors depending on where he stood. The lights on the side changed the way we perceive the color of his shirt.

Today while I was walking my dog, I saw the entire sky change from bright to grey. I knew it was about to rain, so I sat outside and watched it changed really quick. The thunder was loud, but everything looked different when the sun light changed. Natural light is pretty intriguing.

The rain has stopped temporarily. I made a trip to the pool and saw first hand how light and my reflection changed. I am now seeing things with the knowledge we've learned from class.

Today when I was sleeping, the light went through my window and hit my face. It changed as the clouds passed by, making it darker and lighter in my sleep. It was intense.

Rain rain go away. You are making outside so gloomy. Today I did not see any real sun light because of the rain but I did learn that magenta and green light can still make white shoes look white. The mix of the two blend to make white.

Earlier I was walking my dog and I noticed the entire sky became so much darker. The dark clouds covered the sun light and made the walk very dark and moody.

I was using Facetime with a friend of mine and went outside to my balcony for a second. The entire way I looked changed from the light bulbs in my room to the sun light. It really did look like I changed computers but it was just the lighting. If I ever want to look really pale, I could always use Facetime or iChat outside.

Today I wore a blue dress to my graduation. One of the things that stood out today was how different the color changed depending on the light. Inside Full Sail, it looked black. Outside it was definitely blue. When I tried it on in the store, it looked black, but when the lights changed in the dressing room it looked more blue. Even my mother, who was visiting, didn't realize it was blue until the natural outdoor light, and this was even during a stormy day. I find this very intriguing and makes me wonder what else I need to observe with different lighting.

Journal Day 1
I took the following picture of one of the corners in my bedroom without a flash to try and show the multiple shadows reflecting on my wall. Every day, the light shines through a small part of my window that isn't covered by the curtain, past my desk, stand up fan, and hits this wall. The layers and depth, all though not as visual in the picture, change through out the day. In the picture, the darker shadows are obviously closer, and depending on the sun and the way the weather effects the trees outside, the shadows change. This always stands out to me because it's a visual display of multiple shadows of different depths coming from the same source.
